JK is the President and CEO of True Life Worship Ministries and has served as Senior Pastor for over 20 years. J.K. has an enthusiasm and a passion for youth and families for over 25 years he has been working with school systems, juvenile justice and the mental health community developing and managing mentoring programs for at-risk youth. J.K. has also developed and implemented strategies designed to minimize the attrition rate of students. J.K. has a passion that envisions vibrant communities of empowered people thriving to maintain their best quality of life. J.K. has training in pastoral leadership and counseling for families, certification from SERVE Institute – Improving Learning thru Research and Development, and a Degree in Education and Biblical Studies. J.K. believes that True Life Worship Ministries is birthed out of the heart and mind of God because youth and families are dear to His heart.

Doris R. Best

Doris is the Vice-President and Director of Programs for True Life Worship Ministries. Doris is a seasoned professional social worker with a demonstrated track record of working successfully with diverse client population in one-on-one and group settings. Skilled at establishing solid relationships with clients and their families, administrations, local agencies, and co-workers. Dedicated to empowering people to create lives worth living. Doris has worked with youth and families for over 20 years as an advocate in providing psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Doris is experienced in delivering care and case management and interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare. Doris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and has a degree in Biblical Studies. Doris has faith in God and the potential that He has placed in everyone to have a spiritual fulfillment and mental wholeness.
